tbh i have fallout to thank for my girlfriend because i have that ncr bag on the bethesda store and used it as a goddamn purse because why not.. it was also my school bag. i was pathetic. (each word is a link. i don’t have time for html rn.) i just love new vegas So much. so, i went to a cafe to have lunch and i could have forgotten to bring it in, left it in the car, but i took it literally everywhere so i could meet a cute girl who likes fallout. the cafe was small and full of old people, so what was the point of bringing it in? there’s always a point because, Girls.
she was my waitress! had her hair loosely pulled up, wore glasses, and had the sweetest voice and yeah yeah it was because she was a waitress and she had to be nice, but still. i looked at her and obviously found her attractive but thought that i probably looked too young to her. i was 18 at the time, i think? (i looked younger than i was back then.)
she served my food & dessert and before she gave me her check, she held her hands to her face, joy in her eyes, blushing (or was she just got from running around..) and said, “oh my god, is that your ncr bag?!”
okay, listen. i literally turned my body over to face her and look her right in the eyes and excitedly say that it was. i wanted to ask for her number right there and then, but thought that would be creepy, so i asked if she had a facebook and/or email instead. and she said yes and would write it down and bring it back with the check. i still have that goddamn blank check paper she used to write her email and name on.
now we’ve been together for almost two years and we are going to get gay married before i get kicked off my mom’s health insurance plan, but also because i love her more than anything else in the entire world and she makes my heart feel full. i am a better person because of her and she gives me hope for the future, that i will one day come home and see her Every Day and sleep with her Every Night. and that’s what keeps me going, what keeps me alive. the love that i feel is so strong and pure and each day i feel our bond become stronger and stronger. she loves every part of me, she accepts me for who i am. understands me on a level i never thought another human being could. i am no easy package me and my mentally ill, disabled ass, let me tell you. but she doesn’t judge me or make me feel incompetent for what i Can’t do and she loves me despite all that, and she tells me she knew what she was going into the moment we started our relationship.
okay, i need to…tone the gay down. this was just supposed to be how we met. to all sga people that read this, Especially wlw, please remember, that your love is beautiful, absolutely beautiful, and one day, you will meet The One, i promise you.
So basically I have the nicest sweetest gf (@ghilannainn) in the world and before I pass out for bed, have a way too short ramble that won’t do this justice
